NB IoT – IRRIOT signs pilot project with Swedish municipality

After 5 years of developing and implementing IRRIOTs wireless irrigation automation system based on the communication protocol LoRa we have a fantastic system for the horticulture 2.0. With happy users in 25 countries the system is nothing but total success.

Our challenge has been to supply all the asks for our system in urban areas where radio communication is not always preferred. Due to this we have taken the strategic decision to develop a prototype based on NB-IoT. We are very happy to announced that we have come to an agreement with the Swedish municipality Ronneby regarding a pilot project for 2024.
